DRM-X 6.0 is Haihaisoft's Multi-DRM platform for protected video packaging, publishing, viewer authorization, license delivery and playback policy. The Beta supports VOD and supported live workflows.

Which DRM systems does DRM-X 6.0 support?

DRM-X 6.0 supports Google Widevine, Microsoft PlayReady, Apple FairPlay Streaming and Huawei WisePlay. The available path depends on the device, player, package, provider configuration and license policy.

Does DRM-X support hardware-level and software-level DRM?

Yes. Hardware-backed protection is available on compatible DRM and device paths. Software DRM may be permitted for broader compatibility when the content owner's policy allows it. Playback quality and output restrictions remain policy-controlled.

Can DRM-X protect both VOD and live streaming?

Yes. Published VOD packages and configured Live DRM channels use the same server-side playback-session contract. Supported DRM and format combinations vary by live packaging workflow.

Does DRM-X replace our login, subscription system or LMS?

No. Your authenticated backend remains the source of truth for customer identity and access. It requests a bounded playback session only after approving the viewer.

Where can protected media be hosted?

Use managed 1AICLOUD hosting or publish through registered Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2 and compatible S3 storage. Encrypted-media delivery remains separate from DRM license authorization.

Is DRM-X 6.0 ISO/IEC 27001 certified?

No. Security controls are designed in alignment with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 while Haihaisoft prepares its information security management system for independent certification.
